Refund policy

When exam licenses, extensions, and credits are refundable, how to request a refund, and how long refunds take.

Last updated July 30, 2026

Refunds follow the Terms of Service. The short version is that purchases are refundable while they're still unused, and activation is the point of no return for a license.

Refund windows by purchase type
PurchaseRefundable
Exam license, not yet activatedFully refundable within 30 days of purchase
Exam license, activatedNon-refundable once the access window has started
Pre-orderFully refundable any time before activation
License extensionRefundable within 30 days if the added time hasn't begun
Study creditsRefundable within 30 days if unspent

Exam outcomes are never a basis for a refund. StudyHaul may make discretionary exceptions for billing errors or platform faults.

To request a refund, sign in and send a help request from Settings naming the purchase you're asking about. The request is tied to your account, so there's nothing to prove about which email you bought with. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days.

Common questions

I bought a license and changed my mind. Can I get my money back?

If you haven't activated it and it's within 30 days of purchase, yes. Once a license is activated, the access window has started and it is non-refundable.
